Our client is a leading global travel/airline brand, with an exceptional reputation and one of the highest profile names in the industry. The global payments team within the business is a key function, managing payments across the company internationally, and are currently going through a period of transformation & change as they ensure they have a consistently class-leading product set, managing risk, revenue and customer experience.

We are keen to hire a Project Manager to work closely with our change team. They will be responsible for taking the lead on current ongoing projects, acting as a constant resource for all in-flight projects, which are a diverse mix across the payments transformation programme, managing progress & ensuring delivery. With the confidence and experience to question, push back and consult, this project manager is likely to have a good knowledge of payments projects and have a track record of managing change/transformation within a merchant or payments company.

About the role:

  • as part of a payments team, you will get involved with all in-flight projects across payments transformation & change
  • you will identify strategic & operational improvements and work to deliver these
  • driving change to ensure we have the very best payments functionality in the industry
  • analysing data to make data-driven decisions
  • working with other key stakeholders, including IT, programme managers and change managers/consultants

About you:

  • you will be a confident, resilient and driven project manager with experience of change/transformation and a payments background
  • able to convert strategy into actions, you will be motivated to ensure delivery works for all parties
  • a self-starter, good communicator, with exposure to large scale IT change projects and the ability to work closely with stakeholders across functions
  • exposure to agile & waterfall delivery 
  • highly numerate and able to interpret complex data
