The role:

We are looking for a Vice President of Sales. For this role, you will work in an exciting and fast-growing industry. Our unique payment products are designed to service the needs of many merchants in different verticals, making this an unlimited opportunity for you to create growth for the company.

Responsibilities:

• Identify high-potential businesses, verticals, and markets to develop and execute outbound sales strategies to onboard new clients to the company; cultivate and develop a business plan and roll this out to a UK market launch 
• Own and manage your sales pipeline from lead generation, pitching, negotiations, getting agreements signed up to handing over the deal to the Account Management Team;
• Do your homework, explore the pain points of customers understand their needs, and propose high-value solutions in a consultative sale style;
• Ensure the timely and successful integration of merchants and provide sales support according to their needs;
• Represent us at conferences, client meetings, and other industry-related events;
• Become our SME & evangelist in the UK & Europe – help us develop our product so we can partner with key fin-tech players

Skills & Competencies Required:

• Proven 5 years plus in sales/business development experience, selling online payment services to the fin-tech, e-commerce/online payment industry whilst working for a financial institution or online Payment Service Provider;
• Great network within the industry;
• Deep understanding of the online payments industry, BaaS, Open Banking & API's 
• Previous experience of working in an international company;
• Commercially astute, with developed analytical skills and be capable of setting and achieving ambitious sales targets;
• Sharp and independent, possess excellent commercial, negotiation and presentation skills;
• Ability to network at all levels, with strong verbal and written communication skills;
• Excellent professional written and spoken Business English;
