Our client is an early stage fintech startup founded by a team with deep financial services experience and backed by one of the world's leading VC’s.
They are building a platform that uses artificial intelligence and advanced analytics to better understand merchant risk in payments and, in doing so, deliver solutions that remove friction and enable growth for payments companies and their merchants. Our mission is to make risk a growth enabler for payments companies.
They are a remote-first company with people based in Singapore, the United Kingdom, India, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Australia, all operating in a collaborative manner with a global mindset.
The role:
We are now seeking a dynamic account executive to lead our expansion efforts with payment companies across the UK and Europe. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a robust background in the payments sector, risk management and a proven track record of engaging with senior executives to foster product adoption.
Responsibilities:
· Drive Revenue Growth: Owning revenue targets for the UK & Europe markets.
· Lead Market Engagement: Craft high-quality go-to-market strategies and materials; initiate and maintain engagement with senior executives, along with risk, commercial, and technical stakeholders at prospective partners to secure business deals.
· Enhancing Sales Processes: Building on the foundations that have been established to further enhance our approach to sales.
· Promoting the Brand: Continuing to increase brand awareness in the key markets we operate in, with a primary focus on the UK & Europe.
· Marketing Support: Assisting in the initial build out of the marketing function.
· Prospect Advocate: Providing a bridge between our prospects and the product/technology teams - ensuring we are building what our future customers need.
About you:
· Prior experience selling to Acquirers, Payment Facilitator and/or other types of payment companies.
· 5+ years of experience as an account executive, BDM or sales executive focused on revenue growth.
· Experience working with the main card schemes, and knowledge of scheme compliance.
· Experience selling in both the UK & Western European markets.
