Account Manager - Gift Cards

  • Hybrid working with regular visits to Luton office

Are you a gift card / gift voucher professional who's seeking an exciting new role? 

Our client is a leading travel company, with a fantastic brand reputation and an extensive product portfolio including tour operators, cruise & airline sectors to their global business. A unique opportunity has now arisen to join the business within the gift card space, supporting the Senior Commercial Manager in the implementation, supplier management and sales/marketing promotion of a refreshed gift card offering.

Working closely with the wider commercial teams, your role will involve:

  • dealing closely with the new gift card supplier, managing day to day queries & building up a great relationship
  • work with your team to help drive & support gift voucher purchases and redemptions
  • create account plans and attend monthly supplier review meetings
  • helping implement a new voucher solution, though excellent organisation and operational support
  • research customer & competitor trends, analysing pain points & opportunities
  • work closely with sales & marketing teams in different regions to ensure sales promotion for gift cards is effective & compliant

Our ideal candidate would be able to chat to us about the following skills & experiences:

  • commercial focus, with great organisational / planning & communication skills
  • previous experience of / exposure to the gift card / gift voucher market would be a huge bonus in this role
  • supplier management (including performance reviews) would be great to see
  • able to build great working relationships 
  • passionate about doing a great job & delivering results - motivated, self-managed and able to demonstrate initiative 
  • account management, supplier management, project, implementation, marketing - a role in any of these spaces would be beneficial experience 
  • although we are a travel brand, we have plenty of travel experts here already - so this isn't essential experience - if you have it, great, but we are more interested in finding a candidate from the gift card space who can bring their value to our team!
