Account Manager – Payments / Acquirers – Vienna – 1 year fixed term contract
 

Our client is a global payment scheme seeking an Account Manager to join their busy team.
 

As Account Manager,  you will  support the company’s Merchant Network strategy as well as build and maintain strong working relationships with acquirers, issuers, payment institutions, agents, merchants, terminal vendors and third-party companies to drive business success.
 

You will liaise with clients and partners and provide clarification on routine technical issues, introduce new products and features and progress implementation plans. 
 

Day to Day you will :
 

·        Assist with the establishment and maintenance of partnership relationships

·        Build and maintain relationships with key clients

·        Understand the acquiring market and identify the main players

·        Assist with the creation and the update of a target list of potential Issuing and Acquirer Partners

·        Participate in follow up meetings with interested potential Issuing and Acquirer partners

·        Assist with negotiations on Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA)

·        Assist with negotiations on Licensee and/or commercial agreements

·        Prepare and submit reports on Acquiring activities

·        Manage high level technical queries

·        Assist in coordination of implementation projects

·        Provide induction training and on-going support

·        Provide administrative support

·        Conduct maintenance activities

·        Support marketing activities 
 

·        Skills and Knowledge 
 

·        Knowledge of Financial Services and/or Payment Card Industry -experience in Payment Card Industry preferred

·        Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills

·        Demonstrable passion for sales

·        Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage with people

·        Commercial awareness

·        Demonstrable creative and innovative ability

·        Sales analysis capability

·        Ability to make compelling presentations

·        Ability to influence and sell ideas to diverse groups (i.e. acquirers, agents and merchants)

·        Pro-active and reliable

·        Able to work alone and within a team

·        Excellent administrative and organizational skills

·        Business level proficiency in German and English (spoken and written) is required
