Business Development Manager - IBAN/FX/Payments

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 Per Annum (+ uncapped commission & bens)

Our client is an exciting scale up in the payments space - they have a superb product portfolio and, as a principal member of a major card scheme, can support customers payments requirements through cards, domestic payments, international payments & named business accounts across different countries. We sell our solutions to corporates, fin-techs, scale-ups, crypto exchanges, SME's... our target audience is varied, but we can add value to every customers payment flow.

The role:

The client is now keen to hire a BDM to join the sales team, and focus on delivering new customers for IBAN, SEPA, FX & all payment services. You will be responsible for the complete lifecycle, from prospecting through to qualifying, opportunity development & closing the deal. The role will involve:

  • Maintain a good pipeline at different scales, verticals & stages.
  • Keep our CRM up to date and relevant.
  • Represent us at networking events & develop larger, strategic opportunities when appropriate.
  • About you:You may be a Sales Exec looking to step up, or a BDM from acquiring/issuing looking to move into B2B payment solution sales.
  • 3+ years of sales success in payments would be great to see.
  • Knowledge & experience of the IBAN/FX/payments space is highly beneficial.
  • Be able to demonstrate your ability to identify, prospect & close new business.
  • Comfortable working remotely, with a high level of motivation to achieve targets.
