Our fast-growing client was founded in January 2018 offering a product that  minimises potential risk and fraud arising from PSD2 Open Banking.  Their award winning  SaaS solution is easy to integrate, scalable and cost effective.
 
As a result of rapid growth, they are seeking an Italian speaking Business Development Manager.
 
 
Job Scope
 
 
You  will   be   responsible  for  developing   new   business   relationships   and opportunities  for  the  company’s  product  portfolio  in  your  assigned  territory.  territory.
 
 
Day to day you will :
 

  • Own the commercial relationship with Financial Institution client organisations in the assigned territory
  • Selling services and developing new account relationships
  • Solicit and maintain network of new prospects
  • Prepare and present proposals to new prospects
  • Ensure sales targets are met
  • Support the  sale  process  from  initial  client  engagement  through  to  successful contract  closure,  include  scheduling  and  maintaining  client  visits,  assisting  in preparing  appropriate  materials  for  client  presentations,  and  provide  client feedback to concerns or requests for information
  • Assist in business forecasting and planning
  • Clearly articulate and package information at the executive level internally and to prospective customers
  • Represent company at industry events

 
 
 
 
To be successful in this role, you will possess :
 

  • Some experience of selling software and/or SaaS
  • Experience in the banking and payments or allied industry
  • An understanding of payment regulation and its implications
  • Passion for technology and how it can be used to drive new business models
  • Proven success  selling  into  Financial  Institutions  including  Banks,  Payment

Service Providers and Electronic Money Institutions

  • Proven track  record  in  building  successful  executive  level  relationships  with customers and prospects
  • Proven track record of success meeting challenging business targets

 
Responsibilities

You will be

  • an ambitious, dynamic sales hunter and have strong management and relationship skills.
  • experience ideally selling in the banking and payments or allied industry.
  • Demonstrated success  at  networking,  setting  appointments,  pipeline  building,

negotiation, and closing sales to meet and exceed quota.

  • A track record of exceeding quota targets.
  • Self-starter; able to work independently and to define own priorities and deliver results.
  • Fluent in English and Italian
