Our client is a growing business specialising in gifting and loyalty solutions. They are partnering with  leading retailers and banking providers on a global scale. They are looking to expand and hire a Business Development Manager to be responsible for new business growth.  You will be commercially focused and experienced in direct sales – this is a hunter style sales position offering a competitive commissions structure.

Areas of responsibility:

  • Make consultative sales approaches to prospective clients
  • Execute a sales strategy in line with the business roadmap
  • Manage the entire sales from generation  to close
  • Negotiate complex commercial agreements
  • Work with internal departments including marketing, product and account management
  • Attend and participate in relevant industry events and own networking


  • Commercial sales experience with a consultative sales approach
  • Ability to show new business success and wins
  • Previous experience in any of the following industries: SaaS, retail,  prepaid, gift cards, loyalty, fintech or payments
  • Able to understand a technical concept from integration to business use to aid the sales process
  • Strong presentation skills with a confidence to execute a sales pitch
