Channel Sales Manager – UK & Ireland

Payments Technology | Remote UK with occasional travel to High Wycombe

A global payments technology business is seeking an experienced Channel Sales Manager to grow revenue through strategic partners across the UK and Ireland.

The role will focus on identifying, recruiting and developing distribution, reseller and technology partners, while expanding revenue from existing relationships. You will build a strong sales pipeline and work closely with product, technical and operational teams to deliver customer-focused payment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the UK and Ireland channel sales strategy.
  • Identify, onboard and manage new distribution, reseller and technology partners.
  • Grow revenue and margin through new and existing partner relationships.
  • Create joint business and go-to-market plans.
  • Identify new markets and revenue opportunities across the payments ecosystem.
  • Lead consultative sales discussions and develop compelling commercial proposals.
  • Coordinate responses to RFIs and RFPs.
  • Provide market feedback to product and development teams.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting information.
  • Represent the business at partner meetings, customer events and industry forums.

Candidate Profile

  • At least five years’ experience in channel sales, business development or strategic partnerships.
  • Proven success within payments, POS technology or a related sector.
  • Strong knowledge of the payments ecosystem.
  • Experience developing channel, distribution or reseller relationships.
  • Track record of delivering revenue growth.
  • Strong commercial, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Able to engage with senior business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Experience of CRM, forecasting and complex sales cycles.

Experience of payment hardware, payment terminals, retail technology or customer-present payments would be advantageous.

The role is based remotely with some travel to customers, partners and industry events required.
