We are seeking an impactful Senior Sales Leader to drive the growth of our prepaid cards and embedded finance business. As a seasoned professional, you will be motivated by ambitious revenue targets, pursuing both new business acquisitions and strategic cross-sell opportunities.
You will lead a high-performing team of sales professionals and account managers, fostering a culture of excellence. You are a "hands-on" leader who excels at cultivating a healthy enterprise pipeline, maximizing team potential, and closing complex deals.
The Role:
Your expertise extends to driving lead generation across all channels for large-scale B2B deals. Collaborating closely with Marketing, Product, Operations, and Finance, you will define the go-to-market (GTM) strategy and partner acquisition plans. With a "can-do" attitude, you seize every opportunity, push boundaries, and empower your team to do the same.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Execution: Own the business unit’s GTM plan, aligning with enterprise strategy to deliver on annual revenue targets.
- Pipeline Management: Develop and manage a robust pipeline of new enterprise sales and cross-sell opportunities within the existing portfolio.
- Relationship Management: Oversee key accounts, building strategic relationships to deeply understand client needs and challenges.
- Team Leadership: Drive a high-performing sales team and cross-functional support crew to ensure efficient deal closure.
- Market Reach: Operate effectively across UK and European markets, including travel for industry events and high-level customer engagements.
- Reporting: Provide comprehensive and transparent sales pipeline reporting on a regular basis.
- Product Collaboration: Partner with the Product team to identify market requirements, driving enhancements, new development, and competitive pricing constructs.
- Marketing Alignment: Work with Marketing to formulate distinctive value propositions and high-quality GTM materials.
- Commercial Oversight: Maintain an in-depth understanding of complex contractual agreements and commercial frameworks.
What You’ll Bring:
- Industry Expertise: Deep experience in complex B2B sales within the prepaid, embedded finance or wider payments industry.
- Established Network: A strong network of relationships across retail, financial services, incentives, and/or government sectors is highly desirable.
- Technical Knowledge: Experience with ePayables solutions, ERP integrations, and embedded payments ecosystems.
- Proven Track Record: A history of consistently meeting or surpassing ambitious sales targets.
- Complexity Management: The ability to navigate intricate sales scenarios involving multiple stakeholders to achieve high closure rates.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional consultative selling skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to recruit, motivate, and retain "winning" sales teams within a global matrix environment.
