Compliance Manager - Deputy MLRO 

Our client is seeking a Compliance Manager to develop and specialise in the management of their Compliance policies,  frameworks, tools and techniques as well as to judge how effectively they are doing it, and helps ensure consistency of definitions and measurement of risk.

 Perform ongoing review of compliance manuals, policies and procedures in line with 

regulatory or other requirements

 Review and maintain compliance records, company retention documents, employee training

programmes and compliance registers.

 Provide regulatory guidance for complaints handlings and assist with FOS cases and other

escalated matters

 Manage oversight of due diligence process for new and existing clients under a supervision of Head of Compliance, including CDD / KYC documentation reviews, PEP/Sanctions Screening and other onboarding related activities.

 Manage oversight of ongoing transaction monitoring arrangements and any actions required

based on the outcome of review of alerts handling and results of the monitoring

 Deliver effective Compliance and Financial Crime monitoring programme and prepare appropriate management information.

 Manage and oversee submission of regulatory returns and reports to the regulator (FCA)

and/or other authorities.

 Drive management and oversight of the Programme Managers and clients including but not limited to review of monthly Compliance Reports to identify and address any concerns in risk and compliance area.

 Support the business with any compliance or regulatory queries on a daily basis

 Manage financial promotions and social media reviews and website compliance

 Review and manage updates from FCA, JMLSG, HMRC, ESMA, FATF and other relevant bodies and implementation within  policies, procedures, systems and controls.

 Manage the audit process undertaken by independent third parties including refining the audit scope, arranging the audits, reviewing audit reports and overseeing the remediation plan.

 Manage the process for handling of internal reports, reviewing and reporting any suspicious activity or transaction to the National Crime Agency (NCA) and/or any appropriate governmental agencies.

 Support Head of Compliance & MLRO in planning and projecting any changes to the business to ensure compliance with laws and Regulations

 Oversee the company’s Risk Management strategy, including agreement and implementation

of the Risk Appetite.

 Deliver effective training programme to provide training to employees so they understand the regulatory requirements that affect their work, including the company’s Anti-money laundering procedures and awareness

 

To be successful in this role you will have a strong and substantial  track record in Compliance within the BIN sponsorship space.
