Head of Sales (Direct)

Location: UK, remote / work from home with occasional travel to London 
Salary: £90,000 - £100,000 Per Annum (+ excellent commission & benefits, share options)

We are keen to locate and hire a fantastic Sales Leader on behalf of our payments client. based in London. As an exciting scale up in the fin-tech space, an opportunity exists through success for a player/manager to join the team, closing new business deals personally as well as building a team and rolling out your growth strategy. There is real ambition to grow and develop the sales team, and you will have autonomy to build & lead the team effectively in an exciting environment. The leadership team are highly experienced, well known and respected across the industry & the role represents an exciting opportunity to join a high growth scale up. 

Selling our market leading payment gateway, you will join an experienced leadership team and evangelise about our product set to the market place, using your experience of sales and business development, likely gained in cards/payments/financial services, to close new deals. As a true fin-tech with a fantastic platform, you will sell to financial services, insurance, gaming, subscription & e-commerce business (retail & travel are not current focuses). 

The role will involve:

  • Hands-on development & closing of new business within our focus verticals
  • Working with your leadership team colleagues to build out a sales growth strategy/business plan and role this plan out 
  • Hiring, leading & inspiring a sales team
  • Identify targets and deliver results, identify ways to increase market share, generate and source leads through a variety of sources
  • Monitor competitor products and acquisitions
  • Be great at reporting, forecasting, pipeline management, communicating, planning and strategy
  • Have good presentation & pitching skills, a hunter mentality
