Head of Sales & Account Management
Type: Permanent
Salary: £90,000 - £110,000 Per Annum (+ bonus & benefits )
Our client is a highly successful and innovative commercial payments company, with an excellent track record and reputation within the global payments space. Following a period of transformation and change, we are keen to recruit a successful Head of Sales & Account Management to lead these teams within our UK business, taking a leadership role within the wider company and driving high performance and standards from key commercial areas.
More about the role:
· Responsible for leading the UK & ROI Sales & Account Management Team, defining and executing the strategy to deliver ambitious revenue growth and customer satisfaction
· Active participation in the Senior Management & Leadership Team of the UK business
· Accountable for creating an environment in which teams can maximize the return on talent. Supervising a team of professionals as well as leading, motivating, and developing them
· Departmental budgeting and forecasting, delivering revenue and profit margin targets responsibility
· Active participation in Marketing and PR activities and planning, alongside sales colleagues
· Responsible for continuously monitoring and analysing market and customer trends and opportunities
· Work with internal team resources to develop, deliver and implement product to client
More about you:
· Direct business-to-business sales, sales management / commercial leadership knowledge & experience, with a focus on commercial activities
· Proven people management experience, by fostering trust and making people accountable, motivating, communicating & developing staff
· Payments experience, gained from a payments, banking or financial services background
· P&L management experience with experience of budgeting and financial controls when running teams
· Previous experience of working within an FCA regulated environment is useful
