Who You Are / Your Next Challenge

We have an exciting opportunity for a Prepaid Card Programme Manager to join our Operations team on a full-time, permanent contract, based in our London, Victoria Office. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer this role will play a focal part in helping Moneycorp extend its suite of payments products including FX, card issuing, card programme management, payments and digital wallets to B2B and B2C stakeholders globally.

As part of our rapidly expanding international growth, we are now keen to launch a range of prepaid cards (PPC) aimed at the B2C market in Europe, with ambitions to enter the B2B market. This will be achieved in part by you:

  1. Drawing upon your expertise to build and deliver a PPC product to market. This will including but is not limited to setting up the framework of card product architecture and card management system, working closely with the technology team to set up the interlinkage with the origination system and putting in place robust process mechanisms to ensure compliance with the card network.

     

  2. Working closely with our Sales and Marketing Team to set up and manage the processes covering the entire customer lifecycle which includes card issuance, PIN, activations, transactions, online & NFC, authorisations, Fraud & dispute management attrition.

 

  1. Structuring and managing the billing, card payment collection, reconciliation of the card product and analysing the trends on prepaid card spends, category, segment, type of transactions, etc. to increase PoS spends on the prepaid card base and also grow the number of transacting customer base.

     

The successful candidate will be a prepaid card expert and have demonstrable experience translating strategy into a product roadmap. You will be comfortable presenting reports, delivering product work updates and post release metrics to the senior management team ensuring Moneycorp’s current and future offerings service the needs of our users, to elevate our customer experience and revenue. Therefore, we are ideally looking for someone who is currently operating in as a Prepaid Card Programme Manager or Specialist position and will have significant people and project management experience, excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and a robust track record of delivering prepaid card projects (ideally B2C and B2B) in a busy environment.

What we’re looking for / Skills that will help you in the role

  • Significant working experience in the entire lifecycle of card products and knowledge of prepaid card product & portfolio (Fintech lending knowledge is highly advantageous).

  • Well versed with card product, process and compliance details related to prepaid cards and have successfully delivered prepaid B2B card projects in a busy and fast paced environment previously.

  • Extensive knowledge of VISA, MasterCard, RuPay, AMEX, Closed Loop and Open loop products.

  • Substantial track record of success in card issuing and prepaid card schemes.

  • Good leadership skills with the thirst to build and develop a global matrix team of prepaid B2B card expert.

  • Knowledge of industry, technology, marketing and product trends, acquiring industry and latest tech.

  • Ability to communicate effectively (both oral and written), stay calm and work well under pressure to meet competing deadlines.

  • Solution-focused approach and the ability to make objective decisions and recommendations.

  • Proficient at building relationships at all levels and influencing a range of senior stakeholders, challenging decision making to help drive continuous improvements.

  • Ability the ability to breakdown complex information to suit target audience.

  • Resilient to change, adapting to and supporting new situations with confidence.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to take on a central role within the Operations team, who is keen to get involved in multiple projects within an established growing international organisation, and provides amazing scope for both strategic and operational self-development.

Please note: This is a full-time, permanent position. The role will be home-based for the duration of the COVID-19 lockdown restriction. Thereafter, the job is expected to be office-based in Victoria, London as part of the Operations team with the option for flexible work arrangements.
