🚀 Immediate Start

The Opportunity

Our client, a major player in the payments industry, is urgently seeking an experienced Product Owner to join their team. You’ll be driving key regulatory, compliance, and product enhancement initiatives, with a focus on applications and Online Dispute Resolution (ODR).

This is a fast-moving contract role where you’ll collaborate with onshore and offshore teams across Front-End and Back-End applications, and play a key part in a large-scale migration project (WebSphere to OCP).

What You’ll Do

  • Own and prioritise the product backlog; write clear and actionable user stories.

  • Work closely with Scrum teams across multiple sprint cycles (2-week PIs).

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across compliance, regulatory, and product groups.

  • Support validation and testing to ensure quality delivery.

  • Engage with distributed development teams in Asia.

What We’re Looking For

  • Payments / card industry experience (settlement, authorization, clearing).

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner in an Agile/Scrum environment.

  • Strong skills in user story writing, backlog management, and JIRA.

  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and basic coding concepts.

  • SQL skills (able to write simple queries).

  • Background managing Front-End and Back-End applications.

  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management ability.

Nice to Have:

  • Agile Certification (e.g., CSPO).

  • QA / validation exposure.
