Sales Development Representative (POS & Payments – Restaurants & Hospitality)

- Salary: £34-40k base + uncapped commission + benefits
We’re partnering with a fast-growing, modern POS and payments provider that’s transforming how restaurants and hospitality businesses run their operations.
Restaurants should be focused on great food, memorable service, and happy guests — not battling outdated POS systems, slow payments, or manual processes. This business brings point-of-sale, payments, and smart automation together into one simple, modern platform built specifically for hospitality operators. As part of their continued growth, they’re expanding their London sales team and are looking for experienced Sales Development Representatives who know the POS and payments space and can confidently engage restaurant decision-makers.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Proactively reaching out to restaurants and hospitality businesses via outbound calls and multi-channel outreach
- Introducing and positioning POS and card payments solutions to owners, operators, and senior decision-makers
- Qualifying opportunities and booking high-quality meetings for Sales Managers and field sales teams
- Confidently handling objections around pricing, switching systems, and payments
- Keeping CRM data accurate and up to date, logging all activity and outcomes
- Continuously improving talk tracks, messaging, and outreach strategies
- Sharing market insights around competitor systems, pricing models, and common merchant challenges

Skills & Experience:
- Confident with cold calling and outbound prospecting, booking appointments for BDM's
- Strong objection-handling and consultative sales skills, you're a great qualifier who can spot an opportunity
- Target-driven and comfortable working to daily and weekly KPIs
- Coachable, resilient, and disciplined, highly self motivated
- Fluent in English
- Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
