Do you want to take on a new sales executive role where you can demonstrate your experience in sales strategy across POS and payments whilst working within an exciting start-up fintech?

You will be responsible for making outbound sales calls, handle inbound sales enquiries and field sales. You will be on the frontline of the business and tasked with rapidly growing the company’s customer base. Novus Pay offers simple and concise advice when finding the right package for merchants. We will work with them to assess their needs, before matching them with the best hardware and software suppliers, all at the lowest possible rates.

You will use your extensive product knowledge to advise prospective customers on the best solution for their business, whilst ensuring you maximise every opportunity for our client.

Your Role

As a Payment Services Consultant, you will work alongside our growing team of industry experts based in our state-of-the-art offices in Bradford, West Yorkshire with award-winning products. Your role will be to deliver new deals to our large and growing database of retailers through building new partnerships with businesses, both through telesales and field sales. You will  successfully build rapport, gain buy-ins, pitch, negotiate and deliver excellent customer service. You will be required to resolve any queries that may arise in the application process and monitor the application to a speedy completion. As well as liaise with work providers and merchants to ensure a fast turnaround of their order and keep them fully updated with the progress of their lead. Key Responsibilities

  • Close sales and sign-up SME’s through a tenacious market penetration approach.
  • Cultivate and leverage long term relationships with SME merchant owners/decision-makers.
  • Actively collect feedback from onboarded merchants and collaborate with the Executive Team to improve our messaging, proposition and client experience
  • Look for and execute sales opportunities to achieve targets in the territory.
  • Be our brand ambassador creating awareness of our business proposition in the merchant services community.
  • Conduct field sales, for which additional expenses will be covered, such as fuel costs.

Requirements

  • Must be able to demonstrate a track record of successful B2B SME field sales.
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of direct B2B SME sales experience.
  • Confident relationship builder
  • Tenacious and resourceful in sales approach
  • Highly articulate, able to present and communicate complex concepts in simple English.
  • Strong sense of ownership and responsibility for results.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated and punctual.
  • Relevant retail sales/POS experience or a network is an advantage.
  • Access to a car is essential.
  • Weekly/Fortnightly Office Attendance will be required.
