Senior Account Manager  - Acquiring / Payments - London

Our client is a global card scheme seeking a pro-active Senior Account Manager with card acquiring / payments experience to  liaise with acquirers, payment institutions,  merchants, and other third-party companies to build and maintain strong relationships to drive acceptance activity .

Day to day you will :

• Organize meetings with  potential Issuing and Acquirer partners

• Support negotiations on signing Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA) , merchant and commercial agreements

• Recruit merchants for card acceptance

• Prepare and submit reports on Acquiring activities and results

• Communicate high level technical queries regarding system development and operations to clients

• Coordinate  implementation projects

• Support marketing partnerships

• Provide induction training and on-going support to team members

• Provide admin support ensuring efficient and effective operation of the sales and marketing function

·      Travel within EU as required


To be successful in this role you will possess minimum 5 years’ experience in product sales/account management/business development Cards or Payments  Industry as well as  :


·      Strong negotiation and contract skills

·      Demonstrable sales track record with astute commercial awareness

• Ability to make compelling presentations

• Ability to influence and sell ideas to diverse groups

• Able to work alone and within a team
