Senior Chargeback Alerts Manager

We’re supporting a high-growth payments & fraud technology business searching for an experienced Chargeback Alerts Manager to lead the launch and ongoing performance of a chargeback alerts product. This is a strategic, client-facing role, ideal for someone who understands the full chargeback ecosystem and has hands-on experience working with a mitigation provider or similar organisation.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own the end-to-end rollout of a new chargeback alerts & mitigation product, including planning, implementation, onboarding, and continuous optimisation.
- Oversee the daily performance of alerts to ensure accuracy, speed, and strong prevention outcomes.
- Work closely with clients to understand their chargeback, fraud, and dispute challenges offering guidance rooted in your deep domain expertise.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to refine workflows, automate processes, and enhance product performance.
- Identify root causes behind fraud and chargeback trends, providing data-driven recommendations to improve alert success, reduce disputes, and protect revenue.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings globally, building relationships and developing market insights.
- Provide regular reporting on performance, chargeback KPIs, fraud patterns, and product adoption.
- Ensure full compliance with card network rules and chargeback mitigation best practices.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience working for a chargeback mitigation provider or similar organisation.
- Deep understanding of the chargeback alerts ecosystem, including fraud alerts and network-specific rules.
- Strong knowledge of fraud prevention tools, risk workflows, and payments operations.
- Proven ability to manage or optimise chargeback/fraud operations, dispute workflows, or alert performance.
- Confident in client-facing environments and comfortable speaking with merchants, PSPs, and partners.
- Strong project management and product enablement skills, capable of launching new services and driving adoption.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and commercial awareness.
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally for conferences, client visits, and industry networking.
